For the start of this school year, a major upgrade took place for the faculty: new bathrooms. Principal Matthew Sarosy mentioned that any previous work on the bathrooms “hasn’t been done since before 1980.” The bathrooms have gone decades without any updates, showing how necessary this project was. Sarosy said the prior bathrooms were “outdated, and in need of repairs, which were constant and expensive.” This made it clear to the administration how crucial action on this project was needed. These new restrooms provide better accommodations for the teachers and will make them happier in the long run. Social studies teacher Danielle Pearl articulated, “The new bathrooms are great; they feel very luminous and spacious. It is a significant upgrade and valued by the staff on the third floor.” Social studies teacher Koren Pena agreed: “I love them, they look great, and it makes me so happy.” This
investment brings benefits and improvements to the building as a whole.
