The Jingle Ball Is Ready to Ring in the Season with Song!
The annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball is a series of annual holiday concerts produced by the Los Angeles Radio Station in which many popular music artists put on a concert at the start of the holiday season. This year, it ran from November 30 to December 19, featuring performances from many talented artists. Concerts were held in Dallas, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Tampa, and Miami.
Part of what makes the Jingle Ball so special are the performers who come out every year to celebrate. In past years, specifically 2021, famous musicians such as Ed Sheeran, The Jonas Brothers, Doja Cat, and Lil Nas X performed. This year, the leading performers, Dua Lipa and Lizzo, had many people excited. Other artists that performed included the following: Charlie Puth, The Kid LAROI, AJR, Demi Lovato, Lauv, Ava Max, Dove Cameron, and Jax.
Even more performers entered the mix as featured artists in various shows. Such musicians included Jack Harlow, The Black-Eyed Peas, Khalid, Pitbull, Bebe Rexha, Macklemore, Tate McRae, Armani White, Sam Smith, Anitta, Big Time Rush, and more.
Junior Alexis Raynor looked forward to the line-up for this year’s Jingle Ball. “There are so many new artists that I can’t wait to see perform!” she exclaimed. “I am most excited to see Dua Lipa’s and Lizzo’s performances. They always put on a great show, and I’m sure Jingle will be no exception.” Sophomore Gianna Longo also highly anticipated Lizzo’s performance: “If I was going, I would be most excited to see Lizzo.” Longo continued, “I wanted to go to one of her concerts, and I feel like hearing Lizzo perform live would be really fun, like a big party.” Senior Sophia Scorcia was especially excited to see Dove Cameron, Demi Lovato, and The Kid LAROI. “I know they put a lot of effort in their performances, so I know it’s going to be awesome!” exclaimed Scorcia.
Overall, fans found the Jingle Ball to be a huge success this year, bringing nothing but happiness and holiday cheer to everyone involved.
