“Moments in Life”
This poem is a response to “Each Moment Is Precious” by Pat A. Fleming.
Moments in life happen rather fast,
but living in them will be a blast.
When you live in the light of the moment you could bask,
but surely that moment will pass. So, be sure to enjoy it while it lasts.
People spend their precious time all over the Internet,
where hearts can get bent
over one message that is sent.
Many only caring about what they present to the ever-watching world.
Life is an open book
where you can choose to cook or take a look
at what life unhooked looks like.
But be careful not to inhale the soot.
Every new day brings on a different flavor,
even for the local engraver,
allowing you to become braver,
and avoid doing them a favor by checking your latest notification.
By living in the moment,
you can inherit a positive mindset.
You don’t have to fly on a private jet,
to live your life to the very best!
