Performance Friday: Mia Rinaldi
Mia Rinaldi, Grade 10:
I am singing “When We Were Young” by Adele, and it’s about seeing someone that you haven’t seen in a while and having all the memories and feelings come back.
Q: How did you get started in music? Who are your greatest musical influences?
A: I started chorus when I was in fourth grade.
Q: Do you aspire to do anything with music in your future?
A: I would love to do something with music in the future, but I currently do not plan to.
Q: What is your favorite part about Performance Friday and/or performing in general?
A: I just really enjoy being on stage; it feels very freeing.
Q: Do you get nervous to perform in front of people, specifically your peers? How do you quell your nerves?
A: I tend to be very nervous before I perform, but the nerves calm down once I start.
Q: What do you love most about music? Has music helped you in any way through the pandemic?
A: I love how music can make me feel. Through the pandemic, music has kept me from getting bored.
