iHeartRadio’s 2024 “Jingle Ball” concert was a night filled with excitement and so many legendary and new artists who performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Dec. 13. People gathered from all over the world to witness iHeart Radio’s biggest event of the year. A group of 11 singers performed, including Katy Perry, Twenty One Pilots, Tate McRae, Teddy Swims, Meghan Trainor, The Kid LAROI, Madison Beer, Benson Boone, Gracie Abrams, Shaboozey, and NCT DREAM. This event originated in 1996 and continues to be a highly anticipated concert that makes for a memorable holiday tradition.
Freshman Taylor Kelly attended the concert and shared her most memorable experience: “My favorite part of the show was when Gracie Abrams came out and filled the room with so much excitement. She really lit up the whole arena and made the night so much more memorable than a lot of the other performers’ sets.” This was Kelly’s third time at Jingle Ball.
Sophomore Maya Roditi shared, “Meghan Trainor was my favorite because I’ve always been a huge fan and wanted to see her in concert but never got the chance, so it was really fun to see her.” When asked if she would go to Jingle Ball again, she responded, “Yes. I would go again! It really has become a tradition for me, and I love going so much.”
Sophomore Hayley Shapiro explained why she would want to meet her favorite performer, Tate McRae. “She is such a good performer, and I love her music. She has been such a role model and inspiration for me,” said Shapiro. She added, “I wish Jade Lemac would have performed because I love her song ‘Constellations,’ and her voice is amazing!”
iHeartRadio’s 2024 Jingle Ball was a night to remember for many who attended. For those who did not get the chance to attend but would still enjoy seeing these artists perform, there is a fantastic alternative: now, only on Hulu, there is a recording of the full concert. So, if the opportunity did not present itself to attend in-person or if one desires to relive the moment he/she loved best, there is still an opportunity to re-experience this event at home.
