Do you know how to fly a kite?
I know how to fly a kite,
But I don’t understand the kite.
A kite has four sides,
Four parts:
Emotions, growth, struggle, and something else
That is what I don’t understand,
There are four parts to a kite,
But one is unknown.
Some say that a kite is made to fly.
But I contend it was born to defy.
A kite is made to teach,
To learn,
To live a life that objects can’t live.
The ultimate form of symbolization.
But still,
I can’t find what the fourth side is,
Maybe it is the teachings,
Learnings,
And living,
Maybe the fourth side is us, those who came to play,
To fly our cloth away,
With just,
Ourselves,
Our own experiences
And something, that we call a kite
Oh and yes,
The fourth side of a kite,
Is to appreciate your highlights,
Or the experiences you made,
In the flight of life.
